Description
Vintage Nemadji 7” Swirl Pottery Vase made in USA. Known as a Native American hoax because nemadji is the Ojibwe word for "left hand" it was actually made in Minnesota by Scandinavian potters with 'native' clay. It was sold to tourists starting in the 1930's as Southwest pottery and later pieces actually included an Indian Head or canoe as the maker's mark.No chips or cracks. Condition is Used.
