Up for auction is a very scarce vintage 1940's WW2
Unused, near mint set of
A.R.P. (Air Raid Precaution) Warden Armband and ID Certificate
Issued to the volunteers in the Jewish quarter of the city of Safed as part of the Home Guard during WW2 in British Palestine.
The Jewish members of the A.R.P. units were mobilized in different cities and towns by the Zionist paramilitary organizations like the Haganah, due to the bombing campaign on the British controlled area in the Mediterranean basin. These Jewish units were authorized by the British Government in Palestine as part of the cooperation against the Axis forces.
The armband is marked in Hebrew & English
The armband is 45 cm long and 9 cm wide.

This rare lot is in mint unused condition showing minor signs of ageing. The ID card is blank with no written name.
This will make a fine addition to any collection of WW2 memorabilia.

It takes up to 3 or more weeks for delivery. Sometimes postal service is getting slower especially at weekends and holiday. Occasionally there may be delays because of extra security checks at the post office.
