Matte buff exterior was hand-dipped in dilute paint to create a unique marbleized designs for each piece

Despite the legends, there was no Nemadji tribe behind Nemadji Pottery. This was an era before cultural appropriation was recognized. *At some later date the Indian head logo was removed. This pottery was not made by Native Americans.
