The Doctor Fishsticks Leslie Motor Control - Mark II
This motor control unit is similar to the regular Leslie Motor control I sell, however this is designed to plug into the fast motor plug and live in or near the back of the Leslie.   This is ideal for people who want to bypass the internal relay in the 122 or 147 type speakers.   One this unit is installed the Leslie can be powered by using the standard 5 pin to 6 pin Hammond Tone Cab cable, without any permanent modification to the organ or Leslie.
THERE ARE TWO VERSIONS OF THIS CONTROL UNIT, PLEASE BE SURE YOU'RE ORDERING THE RIGHT ONE!
This one doesn't have an on off switch and will power up with the Leslie when powered off of the fast motor plug.   Also the AC input cable is short to make it easy to locate on the back cover, above the amplifier or next to the amplifier.
As you may know the DC switching voltage of a 122 has made quality, affordable controllers nearly impossible. Until now. By “taking over” the switching duties, this controller eliminates the need to send DC voltage down the audio line. Also it adds the motors off feature making the Leslie three speed (optionally).  And there doesn't have to be ANY modifications or harm to the Leslie.
This also works for the 147 type speakers, eliminating the need for high voltage AC on the switch and giving it off/slow/fast operation.
I've sold hundreds of similar units, and have gotten nothing but positive feedback, this is a great solution to many of your Leslie hook up problem.
The switch uses -5v DC so they've perfectly safe (unlike some stock relays that send half of 120v AC to your switch.
This auction does not include a footswitch you an use your own generic TRS 1/4 inch dual footswitch or half moon, or if you need a switch, you can also buy it with a switch for 9,  check my other auctions or contract me if you don't see one here on ebay.    If you want to use a half moon switch, the modern half moons repros will work with this, or I will rewire your vintage half moon switch for you no charge as long as your pay the shipping.
Check my other auctions for other Leslie controller innovations, or contact me directly via message for a consultation.
Keep in mind, if you don't like it you can put it all back in the box and and send it back for a refund within 14 days of receiving it, but I am confident you will like it and so far have received NO requests to return any of these controllers.
Feel free to ask questions through the ebay system, but please be sure all messages start with telling me exactly which Leslie you are using or hope to use, and what you intend to plug into it.
Shipping is via USPS priority mail.   FedEx shipping is possible for a bit more.
    Why Fishsticks?!?
Um... There are a few reasons. I have a 1984 Mercedes diesel that I converted to run on waste veggie oil, that kinds smells like fishsticks, so I first named that Dr. Fishsticks. I wanted to choose a name for these controllers that would let you know that I'm not one of those way to uptight, grumpy, Hammond organ guys, that I am a guy in my converted garage workshop making this stuff for you. I don't have a clear coat on my online presence pretending to be a big operation, I'm a one-man operation, and proud of it. I am a piano technician, a tube amp and Hammond/Leslie repair man, and a player, and have been for 15 years.   Also, I like fishsticks.
I don't talk crap about my competitors or their products or mention them by name in my auctions or in forums. I have had a few Hammond tech types try to “pick fights” with me online, I don't respond to these people when I realize it's part of a petty game.     Don't listing to any noise from anyone who is not a customer, especially anyone who “speaks too easily.” I have 100% customer satisfaction, and that's what's important to me.
    Thanks for your interest!
