Excellent 4 piece set of 100% all original British Pattern 1937 Rifleman’s Webbing Equipment, consisting of :-
One scarce Pattern 1937 Webbing Rifle Case in excellent all original undamaged condition, faintly maker marked on the interior. At 48 inches in length, this Rifle Case is for both the British SMLE and Enfield No.4 .303 rifles. The case is 9 inches wide at the top, tapering to 4 inches wide at the bottom.
A pair of Pattern 1937 CN/AA 0563 Webbing Cartridge Carriers (Pouches) maker marked and dated on the underside of the flap. Each Cartridge Carrier is designed to carry 20 rounds of .303 ammunition in 4 x 5 round charger clips, and is fitted with 2 brass press stud fittings allowing for 2 flap closure positions depending on the ammunition capacity of the carrier. Both Cartridge Carriers are in excellent all original undamaged condition.
One Pattern 1937 Webbing Rifle Sling in excellent all original undamaged condition. The sling is 45 inches long x 1
