Antique Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle Tuck's Zag Zaw British Made plywood 2 Puzzles
One of the 2 antique wooden puzzles is complete, and the other is so close to complete. It is just missing one piece. Each of the puzzles came in a plastic bag, but I am not sure which one goes with the original Tuck's Zag-Zaw Picture Puzzle box. Tuck's puzzles are made in Britain. I am not certain that either or one or both of these puzzles go with the box. You will receive the two puzzles and the puzzle box. Box and puzzles are in as found, antique and used condition and will have flaws and imperfections. Please view all photos to get the best idea of the condition of these antique wooden puzzles.
The puzzles are so beautiful and unlike any puzzles being made. I love these two landscapes and the gorgeous colors in them. Many of the pieces are such interesting shapes- cat, mouse, train, flower, sword, mushroom! A couple of the pieces had their color paper come off, so I pasted them back on with acid free paste. One piece was in pieces where the plywood came apart. I am sending this piece in the as found condition with the pieces of wood and the paper color that goes on top. I will leave that repair to the new owner.
Both puzzles have under 100 pieces, I think. I did not count the individual pieces. The 7th and 8th photos show the individual pieces of both of the puzzles. Puzzles are similar in size and measure around 9" by a little over 6". Please contact me with any questions.
