Antique Black Forest Wood Carved Roller Blind Decorative Element-Desk Protection
Rare decorative element from the Black Forest.
This is a small roller blind that was used either as a decorative curtain in horse-drawn carriages, or as protection for old office leathers, desk pads.
It is an element that we do not find often anymore.
This one is really stunning and in good working order.
It is entirely in solid walnut carved by hand in the style of the Black Forest.
Inside is rolled up a green moiré silk fabric.
A small winder system allows you to maneuver the fabric to roll it up and unroll it.
Everything works fine and the fabric is in good condition (slight discoloration at the start)
The wood part is also in good condition, with some gaps in the sculptures, especially on the wings of the bird ...
